Visibility across twelve projects, finally

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes.

Client reporting takes minutes now

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

A free tier good enough to run a small business on. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Reporting could not answer basic questions

Performance on our office connection made it a chore. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Reporting could not answer basic questions

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

The free tier is generous.

What does not

It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of. Half the team never adopted it.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. A free tier good enough to run a small business on. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Task management is reliable.

What does not

Performance degrades on a large workspace. There is no native time tracking.
