Go live was on time and under budget

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks.

What does not

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.
