Works well, costs more than we planned

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

Landed cost is finally accurate

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.
