Landed cost is finally accurate

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Works well, costs more than we planned

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

Landed cost is finally accurate

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Go live was on time and under budget

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.
