Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.
