Finally a ledger our accountant does not complain about

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Multi warehouse inventory with serial, lot and bill of materials. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Works through load shedding and connection loss. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

The bank feed problems never got fixed

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.
