Migration was painful, the result was worth it

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. The deepest pool of trained local bookkeepers in the country. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

VAT201 output that transfers cleanly to SARS eFiling. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains.

Works well once you accept its limits

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. VAT201 output that transfers cleanly to SARS eFiling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

Cheaper than the alternatives, and you find out why

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.
