Mobile app is unusable in poor signal

Adoption failed and that is partly on us and partly on the product. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

The free tier let us evaluate properly.

What does not

The mobile app is unreliable on a weak signal. Adoption never happened and the vendor offered no help with it. Costs rose sharply at renewal.

The pipeline is finally accurate

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. The mobile app works well enough for a rep between meetings. Email sync captures conversations without anyone copying anything.

What does not

Billing in dollars makes the annual budget a moving target.

Fine once we stopped trying to use everything

We use about a third of it and pay for all of it. Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. Setup was fast.

What does not

There is no local accounting integration without Zapier. Reporting is limited without moving up a tier.

Nobody used it and we cancelled

Adoption failed and that is partly on us and partly on the product. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

Contact management works.

The mobile app is unreliable on a weak signal. Costs rose sharply at renewal. Adoption never happened and the vendor offered no help with it.

Reps update it without being nagged

Six reps, eighteen months in, and the pipeline is the most accurate it has ever been. Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month. Email sync captures conversations without anyone copying anything.

What does not

Onboarding a new rep takes longer than it should.

Set up in a week, adopted in two

Six reps, eighteen months in, and the pipeline is the most accurate it has ever been. Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month. Reporting answers the questions the sales meeting actually asks.

What does not

Billing in dollars makes the annual budget a moving target.

Fine once we stopped trying to use everything

It is capable. Getting the team to use it consistently took much longer than the software took to set up. Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. Contact and deal management are solid.

What does not

Reporting is limited without moving up a tier. There is no local accounting integration without Zapier.
