Good for leave, thin everywhere else

The configuration took longer than promised, and it works well now. Clean mobile app for leave requests and approvals. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Genuinely easy for line managers to use without training. The employee record is well organised.

What does not

Performance management is basic. BCEA leave had to be configured rather than selected.

Managers use it without being chased

Managers approve leave from their phones now, which was the whole point. Leave accrual that follows BCEA rather than a US default. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.
