Landed cost is finally accurate

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Two years in and we still use half of it

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

The core accounting works.

What does not

Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.
