Simple enough that people actually use it

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Version tracked approval cycles that replace email chains. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

In browser proofing and mark up for images, video and PDFs. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Custom request forms that route intake with the right fields. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Good value, occasional performance problems

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. Custom request forms that route intake with the right fields. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

In browser proofing and mark up for images, video and PDFs. The views are flexible.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. There is no native time tracking.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

What works

Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Adoption was harder than expected

It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. Setup was quick.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

We paid for fifteen seats and used nine

Performance on our office connection made it a chore. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

The free tier is generous.

What does not

Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Client reporting takes minutes now

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Version tracked approval cycles that replace email chains. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work.
