Too slow on our connection to be usable

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

It was too slow on our connection. Half the team never adopted it. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Version tracked approval cycles that replace email chains. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Client reporting takes minutes now

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Version tracked approval cycles that replace email chains. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Great tool, we built it badly at first

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. In browser proofing and mark up for images, video and PDFs. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

In browser proofing and mark up for images, video and PDFs. Setup was quick.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. There is no native time tracking.

We value the honest assessment. The bank feed reliability issue you mention has been addressed in a recent release, and we would encourage you to reconnect the affected accounts.

Simple enough that people actually use it

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Custom request forms that route intake with the right fields. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Custom request forms that route intake with the right fields. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

Client reporting takes minutes now

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Custom request forms that route intake with the right fields. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Works, but the seat bands hurt at our size

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Custom item types for modelling briefs, campaigns and assets. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.
