Client reporting takes minutes now

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. A free tier good enough to run a small business on. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

A free tier good enough to run a small business on. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. A free tier good enough to run a small business on. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. The views are flexible.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Adoption was harder than expected

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. Task management is reliable.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. Performance degrades on a large workspace.
