Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. A free tier good enough to run a small business on. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

A free tier good enough to run a small business on. Task management is reliable.

What does not

There is no native time tracking. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Thank you for the feedback and for being a customer. We have shared your comments on the mobile experience with our product team, and a redesigned application is currently in beta.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Forms that turn intake requests into structured, owned tasks. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

Adoption was harder than expected

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. Portfolios and goals that give directors a truthful in flight picture. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

One owner per task, which removes the most common cause of dropped work. Task management is reliable.
