Employees actually log in, which surprised me

Managers approve leave from their phones now, which was the whole point. B-BBEE scorecard inputs produced directly. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Workplace skills plan and annual training report in SETA format. Document storage with e signature removed a printing step entirely. The employee file holds everything in one place with proper permissions.

What does not

Reporting is adequate rather than strong.

Adoption took longer than the vendor suggested

The configuration took longer than promised, and it works well now. Workplace skills plan and annual training report in SETA format. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

There is no local payroll integration. Performance management is basic.
