Reps update it without being nagged

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. Excellent free education and certification content. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Sales teams adopt it voluntarily, which is rare. Email sync captures conversations without anyone copying anything. Quoting from the record removed a handoff to admin.

What does not

Billing in dollars makes the annual budget a moving target.

Set up in a week, adopted in two

The automation removed about four hours a week of follow up admin per rep. Sales teams adopt it voluntarily, which is rare. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

The most generous genuine free tier in business software. Reporting answers the questions the sales meeting actually asks. The mobile app works well enough for a rep between meetings.

The pipeline is finally accurate

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. The most generous genuine free tier in business software. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What does not

The features we needed sat one tier above the one we were quoted.

What works

Marketing and sales in one database when you run both. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month. Email sync captures conversations without anyone copying anything.

Worth every rand once the automation was built

Six reps, eighteen months in, and the pipeline is the most accurate it has ever been. Marketing and sales in one database when you run both. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. What does not

Capable, but the team resisted it for months

We use about a third of it and pay for all of it. The most generous genuine free tier in business software. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Excellent free education and certification content. The interface is clear once you learn it.

What does not

The interface is dense for a new user. Reporting is limited without moving up a tier.

Mobile app is unusable in poor signal

The tier we needed turned out to cost three times the tier we were quoted. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

Contact management works.

What does not

Adoption never happened and the vendor offered no help with it. Costs rose sharply at renewal. The mobile app is unreliable on a weak signal.

Fine once we stopped trying to use everything

It is capable. Getting the team to use it consistently took much longer than the software took to set up. Sales teams adopt it voluntarily, which is rare. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Sales teams adopt it voluntarily, which is rare. The interface is clear once you learn it.

What does not

The interface is dense for a new user. There is no local accounting integration without Zapier.
