Stock and the ledger finally agree

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

The localisation was never properly finished

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

The core accounting works.

What does not

The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Localisation was incomplete at go live. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.

Thank you for this. We recognise the pricing concern and would like to review your plan with you, as there may be a better fit for your usage. Our team will be in touch.

The partner made the difference, not the software

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Powerful, and it demands a specialist

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Works well, costs more than we planned

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.
