The bank feed problems never got fixed

The trial went well. Live use with real volume did not. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

Setup was quick.

What does not

Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly.

The interface has not aged well.

VAT season stopped being a crisis

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Large global template and app ecosystem. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.
