The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.
What works
Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.
What does not
The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.
What works
Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.
What does not
Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.
What works
The core accounting works.
What does not
Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.

What works
Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.
What works
Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.
What does not
Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.
What works
The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks.

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.
What works
The core accounting works.
What does not
The implementation ran badly over time and budget. We are still running parallel spreadsheets. Localisation was incomplete at go live.

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.
What works
Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. The partner network means help is available.
What does not
Reporting requires a specialist to build. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.
