Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. Localisation was incomplete at go live. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Good core, dated interface

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.

Implementation ran eleven months over

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Localisation was incomplete at go live. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.

Thank you for the review. We are glad the compliance side is working well for you. On the reporting point, we would like to show you what is possible with the custom report builder, so please book a session with our team.

Go live was on time and under budget

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Landed cost is finally accurate

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

It is stable once running.

What does not

We are still running parallel spreadsheets. Localisation was incomplete at go live. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.
