Landed cost is finally accurate

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Works well, costs more than we planned

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Our product team has logged the reporting limitations you describe and improvements are on the roadmap for this year. Please contact our support team so we can look at your specific configuration.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.

Implementation ran eleven months over

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

The core accounting works.

What does not

Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. We are still running parallel spreadsheets. The implementation ran badly over time and budget.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Right system, wrong implementation partner

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. The financials module is solid.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Reporting requires a specialist to build.

One system across four branches

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.
