Two years in and we still use half of it

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. Reporting requires a specialist to build.

One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.
