Powerful, and it demands a specialist

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Landed cost is finally accurate

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

Go live was on time and under budget

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

Works well, costs more than we planned

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

We are still running parallel spreadsheets. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.
