Bank feeds alone justify the subscription

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. A report writer that will produce almost any layout. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Thirty years of trained South African operators. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

The bank feed problems never got fixed

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit.

Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Multi warehouse inventory with serial, lot and bill of materials. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Thirty years of trained South African operators. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.
