We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. A report writer that will produce almost any layout. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Thirty years of trained South African operators. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Does the job, will not delight you

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. Thirty years of trained South African operators. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

Thirty years of trained South African operators. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. The report customisation is limited.
