Right features, wrong price for our size

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. The deepest pool of trained local bookkeepers in the country. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

VAT201 output that transfers cleanly to SARS eFiling. The mobile app is useful for approving payments.

What does not

Getting a person on the phone is difficult. The report customisation is limited.

Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Free accountant login on every plan. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. VAT201 output that transfers cleanly to SARS eFiling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.
