Competent but the support tests your patience

It has been fine, with a couple of persistent irritations. Direct bank feeds for Absa, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank and Capitec. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Free accountant login on every plan. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses. There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand.

It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

Our bookkeeper got two days a month back

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. The deepest pool of trained local bookkeepers in the country. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

The bank feed problems never got fixed

The trial went well. Live use with real volume did not. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It is inexpensive.

What does not

Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. Support responses were slow and generic.
