Nobody used it and we cancelled

Adoption failed and that is partly on us and partly on the product. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

Contact management works.

What does not

Costs rose sharply at renewal. Adoption never happened and the vendor offered no help with it. The mobile app is unreliable on a weak signal.

Nobody used it and we cancelled

The tier we needed turned out to cost three times the tier we were quoted. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

The free tier let us evaluate properly.

Worth every rand once the automation was built

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. The mobile app works well enough for a rep between meetings. Quoting from the record removed a handoff to admin.

What does not

The features we needed sat one tier above the one we were quoted.

Set up in a week, adopted in two

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. Quoting from the record removed a handoff to admin. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month.

Good CRM, poor reporting for the price

It is capable. Getting the team to use it consistently took much longer than the software took to set up. Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. The interface is clear once you learn it.

What does not

Reporting is limited without moving up a tier. There is no local accounting integration without Zapier.

Fine once we stopped trying to use everything

We use about a third of it and pay for all of it. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Contact and deal management are solid.

What does not

The interface is dense for a new user. Support escalation is slow on technical issues.

Capable, but the team resisted it for months

Reps update it without being nagged

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. The mobile app works well enough for a rep between meetings. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month.

What does not

Onboarding a new rep takes longer than it should.

Quoting from the CRM removed a whole handoff

What works

Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. Automation handles the follow up sequence reps used to forget. Reporting answers the questions the sales meeting actually asks.

Onboarding a new rep takes longer than it should.
