Managers use it without being chased

Managers approve leave from their phones now, which was the whole point. Clean mobile app for leave requests and approvals. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Modular pricing, so you pay only for what you switch on. The employee file holds everything in one place with proper permissions. Leave requests and approvals happen on the phone without training.

What does not

Reporting is adequate rather than strong.

Leave requests left email and never came back

Managers approve leave from their phones now, which was the whole point. Genuinely easy for line managers to use without training. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Leave accrual that follows BCEA rather than a US default. Document storage with e signature removed a printing step entirely. Reporting on headcount and turnover is available without asking IT.

What does not

Reporting is adequate rather than strong.

We had leave in a shared spreadsheet for six years. This was overdue. Clean mobile app for leave requests and approvals. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

Solid core, disappointing reporting

The configuration took longer than promised, and it works well now. Clean mobile app for leave requests and approvals. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.
