Does the compliance work without being asked

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Genuine multi entity consolidation with inter company eliminations. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Close cycles measured in days rather than weeks. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Dimensional accounting instead of an unmanageable account code. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

The bank feed problems never got fixed

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

Support responses were slow and generic. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks.
