Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. Dimensional accounting instead of an unmanageable account code. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

Dimensional accounting instead of an unmanageable account code. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

Finally a ledger our accountant does not complain about

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Close cycles measured in days rather than weeks. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Strong audit and controls posture. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Good ledger, disappointing reporting

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. Dimensional accounting instead of an unmanageable account code. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

Strong audit and controls posture. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.
