The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

The localisation was never properly finished

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

The core accounting works.

What does not

We are still running parallel spreadsheets. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. The implementation ran badly over time and budget.

Go live was on time and under budget

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Works well, costs more than we planned

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

One system across four branches

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

Right system, wrong implementation partner

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.
