One system across four branches

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Works well, costs more than we planned

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. The financials module is solid.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.

Good core, dated interface

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.
