The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget.

Right system, wrong implementation partner

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Batch traceability built for food, beverage and pharmaceutical audit. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

One system across four branches

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Landed cost is finally accurate

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Process manufacturing with formulas, yield, potency and grade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.
