The partner made the difference, not the software

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Warehouse management with directed putaway and picking. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Multi legislation financials in one instance across African jurisdictions. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Used for 6 to 12 months

What works

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

The implementation ran badly over time and budget. We are still running parallel spreadsheets. Localisation was incomplete at go live.
