The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Rigorous data model that resists bad practice. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Financial controls and audit trail that satisfy group finance. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Powerful, and it demands a specialist

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Rigorous data model that resists bad practice. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Global partner network for multi country groups. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Reporting requires a specialist to build.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Fast analytics on large datasets through the HANA edition. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.
