Visibility across twelve projects, finally

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Portfolio roll ups that give a programme director one honest view. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Portfolio roll ups that give a programme director one honest view. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Adoption was harder than expected

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. Task management is reliable.

What does not

There is no native time tracking. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.

Thank you for the review. We are glad the compliance side is working well for you. On the reporting point, we would like to show you what is possible with the custom report builder, so please book a session with our team.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.
