The partner made the difference, not the software

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Cloud native with a browser interface that was designed this decade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Unlimited users, priced on resources instead of seats. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Comprehensive REST API for businesses that intend to integrate. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Comprehensive REST API for businesses that intend to integrate. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Good core, dated interface

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Unlimited users, priced on resources instead of seats. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

Comprehensive REST API for businesses that intend to integrate. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Reporting requires a specialist to build.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Cloud native with a browser interface that was designed this decade. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Customisation platform that survives version upgrades. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.
