Leave requests left email and never came back

We had leave in a shared spreadsheet for six years. This was overdue. Reporting a board will actually read. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

The best onboarding workflow in the category. Onboarding checklists removed most of the first week paperwork. Leave requests and approvals happen on the phone without training.

What does not

Reporting is adequate rather than strong.

Fine platform, priced above what we use

The configuration took longer than promised, and it works well now. Large integration catalogue and a proper open API. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.
