Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Good value, occasional performance problems

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Native time tracking included from the free tier. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

The most capable free tier in the category. The views are flexible.

What does not

There is no native time tracking. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Performance on our office connection made it a chore. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

The free tier is generous.

What does not

Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. The most capable free tier in the category. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.
