Client reporting takes minutes now

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Used for 6 to 12 months

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. The most capable free tier in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Native time tracking included from the free tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

Works, but the seat bands hurt at our size

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Setup was quick.

What does not

There is no native time tracking. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Adoption was harder than expected

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Task management is reliable.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Performance degrades on a large workspace.
