Cheaper than the alternatives, and you find out why

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

Our bookkeeper got two days a month back

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Very low learning curve. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Automatic, well judged payment reminders. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Automatic, well judged payment reminders. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper.

What does not

Support response times slow noticeably at month end.

Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

It has been fine, with a couple of persistent irritations. Automatic, well judged payment reminders. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

The report customisation is limited. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.
