Too slow on our connection to be usable

Performance on our office connection made it a chore. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

We paid for a tier we could not make use of. It was too slow on our connection. Half the team never adopted it.

Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Non technical managers build working processes in an afternoon. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Automation that needs no code and genuinely removes admin. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Non technical managers build working processes in an afternoon. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

Unlimited free viewers, so stakeholders cost nothing. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Great tool, we built it badly at first

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. Automation that needs no code and genuinely removes admin. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.
