Stock and the ledger finally agree

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Landed cost is finally accurate

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Two years in and we still use half of it

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

The partner made the difference, not the software

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

One system across four branches

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Go live was on time and under budget

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.
