Good core, dated interface

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Good core, dated interface

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Reporting is capable once configured.

Reporting requires a specialist to build. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Landed cost is finally accurate

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

Go live was on time and under budget

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Implementation ran eleven months over

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.

Thank you for this. We recognise the pricing concern and would like to review your plan with you, as there may be a better fit for your usage. Our team will be in touch.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.
