Does the compliance work without being asked

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Free accountant login on every plan. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Direct bank feeds for Absa, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank and Capitec. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

VAT season stopped being a crisis

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. The deepest pool of trained local bookkeepers in the country. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The deepest pool of trained local bookkeepers in the country. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Right features, wrong price for our size

It has been fine, with a couple of persistent irritations. Free accountant login on every plan. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should. Getting a person on the phone is difficult.
