Solid, boring, and that is exactly what I wanted

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Direct bank feeds for Absa, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank and Capitec. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

What does not

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

Right features, wrong price for our size

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. VAT201 output that transfers cleanly to SARS eFiling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

Getting a person on the phone is difficult. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.

It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

Migrated away after fourteen months

The trial went well. Live use with real volume did not. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It is inexpensive.

What does not

The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Support responses were slow and generic. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks.
