Powerful, and it demands a specialist

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Fast analytics on large datasets through the HANA edition. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Global partner network for multi country groups. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Financial controls and audit trail that satisfy group finance. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Rigorous data model that resists bad practice. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. The localisation was never properly finished

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.
