We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Global partner network for multi country groups. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Financial controls and audit trail that satisfy group finance. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Fast analytics on large datasets through the HANA edition. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Works well, costs more than we planned

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Global partner network for multi country groups. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.
