Go live was on time and under budget

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Mature material requirements planning. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Mature material requirements planning. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Right system, wrong implementation partner

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. South African founded, with local consultants and support. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. South African founded, with local consultants and support. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Landed cost handling that covers the full import chain. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.
